These terms govern your use of this website and its access form. They are deliberately short: the site is a place to read about the product and to ask for access to it. It is not the product.
The software has its own licence
Sequitur, the software, is licensed separately under the Sequitur Software License Agreement, which ships with the software as its LICENSE file. That agreement, not this page, governs what you may do with the software: installing and running it, seat limits and paid licence keys, warranty and liability, and source access. Where these website terms and that licence appear to differ, the licence governs the software and these terms govern the website.
The website is provided as is
This site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind: no promise that it is accurate, current, complete, or available without interruption. Descriptions here are marketing copy about a product under active development; the authoritative statement of what a given release does ships with that release. To the extent the law allows, the maintainer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website.
The access form
Requesting access, a demo or news creates no account and grants no right to the software. It is an expression of interest; access opens in batches at the maintainer's discretion, and a request may go unanswered for a while. What the form stores and why is described in the privacy notice.
Acceptable use
Use the site for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to it or to any deployment it links to, do not submit the form on behalf of people who did not ask you to, and do not scrape it in a way that degrades it for others.
Changes
These terms may change as the product and the company around it take shape. The version in force is the one published here, dated at the top; material changes move that date, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the current version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
